How Our Network Works
Who you talk to
Userscarry Remodeling does not have remodelers on staff. When you reach out, you are pointed to an independent provider in our network. That provider is a separate local business. They will discuss your project, visit your home if needed and give you a written quote.
What happens on the first call
The first conversation is simple. You describe the room, the style you like and any worries. Maybe the tub is cracked. Maybe you want a walk-in shower for easier access. Maybe your kitchen layout never worked.
The provider may ask about your home's age, your budget range and when you hope to start. Many will suggest a home remodel consultation so they can see the space.
What to ask a provider
Bring a short list. Good questions include:
- Are you licensed and insured for this work in my state? Can I see proof?
- Who will be in my home, and who manages the job?
- What is in the written quote, and what could change it?
- How do you handle surprises, like old galvanized pipes or hidden damage?
- Do you pull permits?
- What is the payment schedule?
A good answer is specific and calm. A red flag is pressure to sign today, a large payment demanded up front, or vague answers about permits and insurance.
You are in control
You can talk to more than one provider. You can say no. Costs for bathroom and kitchen projects vary a lot in the U.S., depending on size, materials and the condition of your home. Always get a written quote before agreeing to anything.
If you are comparing options for luxury bath upgrades or a kitchen remodeling contractor, ask each one the same questions. It makes the answers easier to compare.
